Nike Sky Force ’88 (White/Black & White/Red)

This releases sees Nike bring back some late 1980 hoop flavours, with a double reissue of the Sky Force ’88 coming in either the choice of white/black or white/red.

It seems Nike is going out on all cylinders with the vintage treatment lately. Blazers, Dunks and the Match Classic are all silhouette’s from the archives that have been given the treatment. The vintage application on these seems to work really well, capturing an authentic late 80’s feel. The soft leather on the upper looks great and the Court Force like shape is very nice indeed. Both shoes are very simple, with the white working in harmony with the colour hits making for a balanced aesthetic.

A decent release with a price tag that doesn’t stink.

Available from Crooked Tongues now.
