After a string of popular colourways last year, Reebok keep the GL 6000 alive for Spring/Summer 2011 with these two new variations.
This new drop sees Reebok keep things a little more simple than the 2010 drops, with the upper being a block colour spread across the combo of mesh, suede and leather. First released back in 1986, this is by far one of Reebok’s most impressive vintage runner designs and an absolute classic that made a very welcome return to stores back in 2000 (with a beautiful £50 price tag. Gone are those days). Coming soon in a majority Red or Grey colourway, this new drop for Spring/Summer 2011 sees the silhouette shine brightly as the colours step aside from the limelight – something I’m a big fan of. With that perfect mix of suede and mesh, a majority white outsole, splashes of Red on the Grey version and vice versa on the Red, this is a solid little duo for a modern version of a classic running shoe.
Personally, the Red pair are a bit bold for my taste, but the Grey pair are absolute fire. Head over to Crooked Tongues where you can pre-order these now for £67.
