Statecide Spring 2011 Drop

UK brand Statecide are back with their second ever drop, for Spring 2011, and it’s a huge step on from their original two T-shirt release. We first brought you Statecide in an ‘Introducing‘ article back in September, and from the look of this second drop, the brand have been hard at work ever since.

I was hugely impressed by Statecide’s first efforts – I loved the illustrative style they focused on, and the detailing on both the sleeves and neck – and although things have progressed significantly since then, the original design elements can still be found in the likes of the Sephirot tee. This time, two T-shirts (the ‘Sephirot’ and the excellent ‘No TV’ design, both of which feature an embroidered label on the bottom left) are accompanied by two 5 panel caps, three beanies and an army surplus style camo zip-up hood. The beanies come in three plain colours (black, charcoal, and olive), while the 5 panel is available in plain black, or my personal favourite, woodland camo, all of which feature the Statecide embroidered label. The hood is a slightly different camo variation (and unfortunately isn’t quite as good), and features an embossed leather logo patch on the left chest.

Statecide is still in it’s infancy, but they’ve already shown huge promise. A drop like this, after only a few months in existence, isn’t something we see very often, but I really admire the brand’s output. Have a look at the rest of the collection below, purchase the items online or in-store now at Fifty Fifty (Bristol), and as always, let us know what you think of this brand’s second ever drop in the comments below.
