Mr. Bathing Ape by Inventory Magazine

Back in February we covered the release of Mr Bathing Ape, the on going collaboration between Bathing Ape and the Japanese retailer United Arrows. The collection is essentially fine tailoring with a twist – Nigo’s relationship with London’s infamous Saville Row being mainly responsible for this.

In the latest issue of Inventory Magazine you’ll come across a styled shoot of the Mr. Bathing Ape collection shot by British photographer Neil Bedford (who’s images you may be unknowingly familiar with). Going with the 90’s American prom / 90’s suiting catalogue photography style, it somehow manages to show the garments in a better way then an overly slick shoot could ever achieve. It just oozes character.

For more background information on the shoot, pick yourself up a copy of Inventory magazine from Present along with some of the pieces featured. For more information on the products and collection, check our original post on the Mr. Bathing Ape SS11 Collection.
