Undefeated Spring 2011

In the past year we’ve seen Undefeated (otherwise known as UNDFTD) collaborate with nearly ever respected sports footwear brand under the sun. Their infamous name is never far from blog headlines, but this time, the sneaker store come clothing brand present their own range of simple, sports-inspired apparel, for Spring 2011.

The brand’s foundations have always been in classic American sports like baseball, basketball and football, and it’s always plain to see in the clothing they produce. Their Spring ’11 collection is a fine an example of that as any, with plenty use of their iconic ‘5 strike’ logo, and other type and design choices all feeding from UNDFTD’s sporting roots. Every piece is simple and bold, using block colours and one colour prints. The UND Varsity Jacket is the most elaborate piece, with embroidered chest patches and branding along the sleeve, and is a definite highlight, in black and red. The carryover 5 Strike Crewneck comes in 4 colours and it is accompanied by a selection of new T-shirts, hoods, 5 panel and snapback caps.

I’m a big fan of Undefeated’s more reserved approach to streetwear, and would glady wear every piece from the collection below, although that may be more than a little stretch for the wallett. If you like what you see, the new line from Undefeated is available now at Chimp, End, Fat Buddha, Urban Industry, Wellgosh and more.
