Video: Vans Pass The Bucket – Stephen Murray

In the newest installment of their Off The Wall TV series ‘Pass The Bucket’, Vans present a short docufilm with Newcastle born professional BMX rider Stephen Murray. Murray’s life was transformed dramatically after a crash during the Dew Action Sports Tour in 2007, left him paralysed from the shoulders down.

Stephen went on to set up his Stay Strong foundation, a way of empowering others like himself who have fallen on hard times. The video above documents his inspirational story, his fight to be able to walk again, and the powerful way he ‘passes the bucket’. A truly inspirational story that is well worth your time. The Pass the Bucket series has already documented other inspirational journeys, such as those of Amy Purdy, Fletcher Dragge and Tony Alva, and their own ways of ‘passing the bucket’. Watch more at Off The Wall TV and check out Murray’s work at Stay Strong.
