DBD ‘Emaciated Buddha’

DBD return with a new eastern inspired design, this time depicting the Buddha’s journey to enlightenment in a piece titled ‘Emaciated Buddha’. DBD roped in DJ Lost and Skullion Shadez on modeling duties for the new piece which is available to purchase now.

The design is available on grey sweats and white tees, and isn’t really your typical depiction of Buddha, with a skull, bones, eyeballs and flames, but I really like the style, and it shows a huge progression graphically from the brand’s earliest work. The only thing I did spot was a change in body on the crewneck, from the heavyweight cotton, raglan cut used previously, to what looks like a lighter-weight body cut straight across the shoulder – which for me is a shame, as I personally favour the raglan style.

The new design is available now from DBD. Tees £25, and sweats £42.

My personal taste runs more towards the new Warlord and Fresh Cuts design but big supporter and fan of DBD here and really digging all the new prints and evolution of the style. I grew up with my dad having all sorts of skull and eastern-influenced tattoos so really feeling the DBD styel.
