Moleskine Travelling Collection

Moleskine, the undefeated champions of the notepad world, have ventured into the land of leather luggage in this latest collection, aptly named the Travelling Collection.

With a slick and minimal approach to design, very reminiscent of their notepads, Moleskine have created a rather elegant collection of varying bags that are both stylish and practical. If you watch the short video at the bottom of this post, you’ll notice how the bags are all in fact large leather renditions of the classic Moleskine when it comes to design – it’s also a wicked little stop-start animation. With a large selection of bags to choose from (backpack, tote, laptop cases, messenger bag, utility bag and reporter bag), Moleskine seem to have considered every option, especially when you see how versatile the collection is when combined with the storage panel or multipurpose cases that are also available, bringing you near endless possibility with your travelling storage. Pretty damn clever really.

Many of the bags include a molded base for added stability and water repellency, as well as a velour lining (swanky) and/or a terry fabric lining so that you can attach the multipurpose cases. The elastic band closure on almost all the bags keeps that Moleskine theme running throughout to create what I believe to be a very successful collection. Clean, simple, effective and elegant.

The collection is available online now from Moleskine.
