Obey SS’11 Tank Tops

Summer’s right around the corner, and fortunately, Obey have you covered for the warmer days with a great selection of tank tops in a variety of colours. Although I’m not normally the vest-busting type, these new pieces from the brand have definitely tempted me to reconsider.

The above Cherokee tank, continuing the recent trend with it’s allover Navajo print, absolutely kills it for me, bringing with it all the flavour of a classic Pendleton piece, and the photo-print Wolf tank shown below matches the Pacific Northwest theme nicely. On top of that, the Original and Front tanks build out the range in a selection of colours, the latter featuring the brand’s iconic block text logo across the chest.

All of the pieces here are available now from Flatspot, priced from £28 to £40.

I don’t get the whole tank-top thing. They were hot in the late 70s / early 80s when aviators, short men’s shorts, striped tube socks, and porn ‘staches were the rage. To each their own but I really don’t want to see men’s pits or nipples hanging out (and I’m a gay!). Hopefully these will be a passing trend.
