albam Climbing Shorts

albam are gearing up for the sunny months ahead and have released their first shorts for 2011 in the shape of these awesome Climbing Shorts, available in four colours.

First thing that has to be said is how comfortable these look – a soft combination of 50% cotton and 50% linen keep them light and airy, whilst the use of a drawcord waistband ensures true comfort. I’d almost feel bad wearing these out of the house, it’s that level of comfort where you feel like they should be relaxing attire. Washed out to give an aged appearance, these shorts are for the casual man. a singular back pocket with a leather albam patch sitting above it gives the shorts a unique appearance from the rear.

The colour palettes are rather bright for albam, showing that they are really welcoming in the Summer with open arms. I can’t help but be reminded of those classic Ralph Lauren washed chino shorts, especially when I look at the Mineral Red pair. I’m not complaining; it’s a dope colour palette. The contrast white stitching works well on all of the lighter colours, but I can’t help but feel that the Wash Navy pair are a little too dark for it. Each to their own I guess.

All four pairs are available now in-store and online from albam for £64 each.
