AnyForty Versus 4 Lookbook ‘Summer In Salford’

UK brand AnyForty have just dropped the fourth edition of their ‘Versus’ artist series, and have produced this Summertime lookbook in support of the new collection. Featuring the talents of Drew Millward, Waste and Triclops amongst others, the new range is one of the best yet, and see’s the artist driven brand take the lead in their niche.

Within the 8 T-shirt series you’ll also find work from Yup, Johanna Basford, Matt Taylor, ZombieCorp, and J3 Concepts (who’s work you may remember from the brand’s recent leather wallets). Where as in the past I have maybe only personally liked one or two designs per series, I actually really like every one in Versus 4. Johanna Basford’s logo piece is an instant favourite, and Triclops monsterous design comes a close second, as I’ve always been a big fan of their work. Third place goes to Drew Millward for his piece, although it’s probably a little too colourful for me to wear myself. As a final touch each T-shirt comes with it’s own individual swing tag, featuring the respective artwork.

The artist series game is a tough one to crack, and can often lead to a lack of continuity or a few ‘filler’ designs plugging gaps between the good stuff, but with this drop, AnyForty have got it just right, and long may it continue. To top things off, the lookbook below (shot by Tom Hull) is great, and does it’s job perfectly. Go grab the new series now, online at Any Forty.
