For some time, Bristol’s Bake Designs have been plotting the launch of a new website and today is the day it goes live. The new site dons a fresh and clean look and incorporates the online store, blog, gallery and mix series. To coincide with the launch we’re more than lucky to see the drop of Bake’s 2011 collection. A range of 3 new tees and some brand expansion to a crewneck sweater.
The ‘Big Old B’ design is a heads up to the ‘Big B’ from the last drop, this time the design boasts with an elaborate old English font, white lettering on a black tee. The Bake typographic theme runs through on the ‘Military Reverse’ with a mirrored ‘B/D’, black and white tee. My favourite is the black on white ‘New Black’, a nod at one of my favourites from the last drop. Finally we see the debut ‘Shield Crew’ sweater which incorporates the classic Bake shield logo in black with a sweet neon green lick. The green pops out in an overly nice way on the black crew, a strong addition for sure.
To coincide with the launch, Bake also launch Vol.3 of their mixtape series – a banger compiled by Broken Funk, which you can find at the bottom of this post.
The line is available as of today from Bake Designs along with some reprints of some old favourites and will soon to be found in stockists including Donuts and Urban Industry.
