More Hyperfuse crossover tech here, with Nike making use of their complex heat welding technique which gets transferred to the Air Max 1.
The AM1 Hyperfuse takes all the production techniques originally used on Nike’s already basketball modern classic, the Hyperfuse. Consisting of three layers, a stability layer, breathable mesh layer, and a durable outer skin, each layer is fused together to create a lightweight and breathable upper that definitely blends well with the character of the AM1. The colour palette works pretty good on these too, with a clean modern feel while still maintaining that classic AM1 colour placement.
The original AM1 is taking a serious beating right now, with a serious overload of sub-par releases, so it’s refreshing to see a release like this pop up.
