Air Jordan V Retro (White/Midnight Navy)

Jordan fanboys and girls have been treated well this year, with an array of retro’s including some pieces with holy grail status. The V is definitely a silhouette that sits comfortably with a wide range of sneaker enthusiasts and also those who don’t like there footwear too futuristic, though ironically these were about as futuristic as it gets back in 1990.

Playing on a certain OG colour-up of the Air Jordan V, this white/midnight navy version is aptly named the ‘USA’ V, which is a brand new offering but still has all the classic elements in place. The white leather upper has hits of patent leather, which is a little strange on the V, but not too much of a big deal. The varsity red accents are in all the usual spots and the 3M tongue can be found on this release also. This is definitely an excellent release that gives the Jordan crew a new take on the V without straying away from the familiar characteristics of the original, and is a great companion to the much anticipated Metallic V release which is coming very soon.

Available on 2nd July (some stores are launching these at midnight tonight) at all good Jordan Brand stockists such as Urban Industry, Crooked Tongues, House Of Hoops and End Clothing.
