Nike Air Foamposite Pro (Teal)

It wasn’t that long ago that the OG ‘Pearl’ Foamposite Pro’s had a reissue and since then, we’ve had a few new colour-ups all tying well in to the super futuristic formula of this 90’s classic. This model doesn’t get a lot of love off the court, but due to Ray ‘Jesus Shuttlesworth’ Allen giving the OG Foam Pro’s an outing in Spike Lee’s ‘He Got Game’ and the golden era of mid to late 1990’s Nike basketball output, this shoe has an underground cult following that stays healthy to this day.

This make-up could be seen as a nod to the recent Nike Air Max Lebron ‘South Beach’, with it’s vibrant teal colour choice. As always with the Foamposite models, the colour has a certain metallic tint due to the special composite material used to construct the upper. The Foamposite Pro comes with a clear ‘icy’ outsole, which is a certain characteristic that’s associated with this shoe. Tech specifics include the huarache sock like fit and composite shell which moulds to the shape of the feet over a period of time. All of this, combined with the very strong and striking aesthetics, makes for one of the best pieces of basketball footwear ever and this new make-up is an excellent addition to the Foamposite archive.
