Part two of the Air Trainer crossover shoe gave the first instalment a tougher looking aesthetic, with the added forefoot strap and higher profile. It wasn’t long ago that Nike delivered us the reissues of the OG neon colour-ups of the Air Trainer SC II, which definitely got fans of this silhouette in a frenzy.
This colour-up takes a little DNA from it’s younger sibling, the Air Trainer, with a certain 1990’s ‘Bo Knows’ vibe. This one definitely has all of those Raiders colours but white dominates instead of the familiar black upper found on the original Bo Jackson Air Trainer. Sports talk aside, this is a solid make-up that has a lot of retro touches, while sitting comfortably in the modern world. Leather and nylon construct the upper, with strong Nike branding complimenting this bold cross-training shoe.
