Cardiff’s hottest streetwear export, Droneboy Laundry, finish out the summer with a new drop of tees and fleece, in their staple monochromatic colour scheme. The collection features various interpretations of the Droneboy character and some basic logo pieces, in a number of formats.
The big highlight here is the Misfits design, shown above and in the two shots below. Droneboy take inspiration from one of the most influential punk bands of all time, particularly when it comes to the metal and hardcore circut. The band’s iconic fiend skull logo takes up residence in the Drontboy cone, and the back carries the name of their greatest work, 1982’s Walk Among Us, paired with a Droneboy flip on the band name/logo – it’s also available in black tanks for the ladies. The ‘Mr.Paste’ tee adds the only splash of colour to be found, with a peeling paste-up of a ‘Mr. Men’ style Droneboy, in bright orange, on the reverse, and a paste themed DB logo on the chest.
The three tees (not forgetting ‘Be You, Not them’) are joined by two basic logo polo shirts, in black and white, an two simple, black hooded sweatshirts – one zip-up, and one pullover. This is the strongest release yet from the Welsh brand, and I’m glad to have scored myself a Misfits tee already. Everything you see below is available now from Droneboy Laundry.
