Introducing: The Buttery Store

May we introduce to you the latest offering in the land of UK Menswear online stores; The Buttery Store.

I’ve been keeping a very close eye on the development of this shop since they’re very early first steps (signing up to twitter I believe), so it’s with great excitement that I am able to announce their launch today. It’s always hard to predict whether or not a new store will survive, especially with the fragility of today’s market, but the more I look at The Buttery Store and everything they are doing, the more assured I am that they will succeed. Take a look at their branding for example and I guarantee you would not assume this is a new store. There’s an heir of smooth professionalism that spreads from their graphic design, to their social media outreach, to their product presentation and finally to their product packaging and customer service.

All of this seriousness is great, and a necessity in my opinion, but what makes me really fond of The Buttery Store is their sense of humor, their tongue-in-cheek nature and exactly the right amount of it. Their coat of arms style logo with two crosses butter knives is genius, but nothing tops the miniature Albert the cow with a little branded tag – fantastic attention to detail. But that is exactly what The Buttery Store is setting out to achieve, a fantastic attention to detail, or as the two chaps who run the store would put it “the small details really count for a lot”.

With a brand mix that includes Grenson, Heritage Research, Palace, Maiden Noir, Saucony Originals, Hartford, Edwin, Sperry Topsiders, YMC, Carhartt Heritage, Filson, Vanishing Elephant, Anderson belts, Long and New Balance … it’s clear to see that Edd and Lee know what they are doing when it comes to buying.

Here at TDS we wish The Buttery Store all the success that they deserve (which is a lot) and look forward to both the store, their product range and people’s awareness of The Buttery Store growing in the near future.

Head over to The Buttery Store to flick through the site and see what it’s all about. Make sure you check their “Prime Cuts” and Denim Care Guide while you’re there, and of course … treat yourself to a little something as a welcome gift to The Buttery Store on their official launch day (today).
