Penfield AW11 lookbook (behind the scenes)

Today we get to have a sneaky look behind the scenes of the upcoming Penfield Autumn/Winter 2011 lookbook, shot by F.E. Castleberry and styled by Christine Mitchell and Branden ‘Skip’ Brooks.

Titled “From Rockport to Cambridge”, this season’s lookbook takes a much more preppy and mature angle than last season’s “A Guide for Everyman“. Funnily enough, although the previous lookbook was more focused on sailing and the sea than this one looks to be, this season’s lookbook seems to have more of a sailing brand feel. With that classic mixture of preppy appearance and outdoor-wear being presented in such a manor, I can’t help but think of classic sailing brands.

From the look of these behind the scenes photos, and the three teaser images from the lookbook itself at the bottom of this post, it looks like Penfield are about to unveil yet another fantastic lookbook to the world. And I can assure you in advance that the collection itself is damn fine, but I doubt that you would think any different considering the name that the brand has earned itself combined with the fact this is a Winter lookbook … aka Penfield season.

Keep your eyes on the site to see the full lookbook in the next few weeks.
