Bodega x Saucony Originals Elite Grid 9000

Boston’s Bodega and Saucony aren’t strangers when it comes to teaming up for a sneaker collaboration. This next instalment sees the two meet for a creative twist on Saucony’s ‘Elite Grid 9000’ silhouette.

This is a damn good collaboration with some high quality execution. On the upper there’s a mix of suede and mesh, with characteristics such as the nylon tongue, which wraps around the outside of your foot, adding some interesting aesthetics. Saucony’s ‘GRID’ technology is part of the performance DNA here and can be seen on the exposed window on the out-sole. There are four colourways on offer, with all of them sticking to a subtle and clean affair, which are the perfect tones for those colder months ahead.

This is an excellent collaboration from these two heavyweights, and is due for release over at Foot Patrol on Thursday 15th September.

Love these. They remind me of Huarache’s a bit. Classic shape and solid colourways. I’ll be on the look out for these.
