Last night Carhartt and Goodhood celebrated the brands arrival at the store and the opening of their exhibition in true street-party style. We went down to see how it unfolded…
Located at Goodhood’s new Goodhood Workshop, situated across the street from the store and directly below their offices, the exhibition is small and succinct, packing into it a wealth of Carhartt history. Pieces pulled straight from the Carhartt archives are on full display for you to get up close and personal with, and it’s inspirational to say the least. There are original garments from all kinds of eras, presented alongside serious vintage memorabilia.
With some ambient lighting shining onto the exhibits, this is a definite must-see for anyone in the London area from now until the 24th of this month. I strongly recommend making your way down there and soaking up part of the brand’s history.
As for the party, 20+ crates of beer vanished at an alarming rate as the street was flooded with people. It was by far one of the busier events I’ve attended in a long time and great to see so many people in attendance.
Enjoy the pictures below, and make sure you check out the Carhartt x Goodhood “1889” lookbook if you haven’t already.
