Donuts Vs SWAMP81 001

Word of the collaboration tee between bass record label SWAMP81 and Bristol store Donuts has been brewing for some time now. This weekend, this BIG news became official as Donuts announced that the first collaboratiove T-shirt will drop on the 20th September.

The T-shirts feature a block typo-graphed print of ‘808, 909, 727′ – an ode to the seminal drum machines that have had such a big effect on electronic music (and SWAMP81) over the years. There are two versions, one consisting of white lettering on a black tee and one vice-versa.

The underground record label SWAMP81 run by the honourable Loefah, has built a huge reputation in electronic music over the years, setting them leaps and bounds ahead of many others in terms of consistency and influence. This tee, I’m sure, will be flying out to all the heads who have been supporting the label from day.

This is a limited drop and not to be slept on, there will be no re-prints. You can pre-order the t-shirt NOW over at Donuts. Available in-store Saturday 10th, with pre-orders shipping from the 12th. Check out some images of the printing process, and of course, the tees themselves, below.
