Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse ‘Infrared’ (CTBBQ COMP)

The success of this years Nike Sportswear Crooked Tongues BBQ was a pleasure to experience. Free food, drink and likeminded people hanging out was enough on it’s own, but the guys over at Crooked Tongues wanted to give everyone that something a bit extra special. So what do you do to take things another level? Create a competition that involves the oppurtunity to win a pair of Air Max 90 Hyperfuse ‘Infrared’.

Infrared’s are a staple shoe and it’s always a pleasure to spot those vibrant accents popping out among a crowd of people. CT teamed up with Nike to create this very special version of the Infrared, in the form of the Air Max 90 Hyperfuse. You may have seen various make-ups of this updated classic (the Neon pack springs to mind), but unfortunately this special version isn’t available to buy. There’s no need to go to in detail about this shoe, it’s the real deal and a seriously dope one-off.

Fortunately for those who couldn’t make the event, Crooked Tongues are giving everyone a second chance to get their hands on this incredible sneaker. Starting on Monday 19th September to Friday 23rd September, there will be a ‘two-a-day’ give away. The size run includes: (UK sizes) 1 x 6, 2 x 7, 1 x 8, 1 x 8.5, 1 x 9, 1 x 9.5, 2 x 11 and 1 x 11.5.

All you have to do to enter, is unbox your best Nikes and photograph them on your feet and either tweet (with the #ctnswbbq2011 hastag), Facebook (via the Crooked Tongues group wall) or add them to the legendary ‘Today I’m Wearing’ section on the CT site, with the information of your UK shoe size. Crooked Tongues will showcase the best entries on the site and send out an email and announce winners at lunchtime from Tuesday to Saturday. Extra points will be given for style, composition and imagination. It’s not about hype, how expensive they were. It’s all about how you rock ’em.

Once these are gone, they’re gone. Good luck.

Soo many wack entries so far. They’ve got a lot of shit to sort through before they find any good photos.
