Norse Projects AW11 Headwear

We all love a bit of Norse Projects headwear, and it’s fair to say that Winter is when they do it best, allowing the brand to make use of much richer materials.

Maybe it’s the use of materials in this collection, or maybe it’s the choice of colours and patterns, but something about this season’s Norse headwear seems to strike a chord with my British self. Perhaps it’s the countryside stylings, or Inspector Morse earflaps … or just that we haven’t really had a Summer so Winter hats seem more fitting? Either way, this collection seems incredibly relevant and current.

This Winter sees the return of woolen 5 panels – an absolute favourite of mine from last year’s collection. Alongside the wool sees a new material for Norse when it comes to 5 panels; moleskin, oozing luxury and keeping your head damn warm. The farmer style patterned wool caps are far too sick and I’m guessing will be some of the quickest to leave the shelves, those and the 6 panel baseball caps. For the more adventurous dresser, the hunter 5 panels and 6 panels are a huge shout – not for the faint hearted, but damn would they look good if rocked well.

I don’t really need to say anything about this drop – it’s Norse headwear and it’s damn good (which is expected). All the caps shown are available now from The Hideout both online and in-store. If you have your eye on a particular one, or two, or five, I strongly suggest you don’t sleep.
