Silas have gone through a bit of a transformation recently… a UK brand, now Japanese owned, and without much of the character that the original British brand possessed. The ‘new’ Silas recently opened a store in Islington, London, and after a soft-launch a few months back, the store is now officially open to the public.
The brand boasts a much smarter, cleaner aesthetic than the bold graphic tees I was used to growing up, but their new ‘post-skateboarding’ look works just as well. The Islington store continues the same, clean visuals, and promises to be the only place to pick up limited edition product and collaborative releases, as well as play venue to art exhibits and live performances.
Check it out for yourself at 8 Shillingford Street, London N1.
