SUPRA Fall 2011 Boot Collection

SUPRA are known for their modern take on skateboarding footwear, with an array of now popular silhouettes such as the Skytop and Avenger. For Fall 2011 the brand have decided to go in a new direction, with this new line of boots that are a rugged and modern take on some familiar classic boot silhouettes.

There are two different styles in this line, the Douglas, and the Skyboot. The Douglas is constructed with waterproof, full-grain leather on the upper ensuring your feet are kept warm and dry at all times. Heavy gauge stitching, metal eyelets and woven rope laces are all extra details that contribute to making this shoe one tough customer. The durable Skywalk outsole also adds durability and is ideal for any terrain, while providing all your cushioning needs.

The Skyboot takes obvious inspiration from the popular Skytop silhouette. Much like the Douglas, this shoe is an all terrain boot ready for any beating. The Skyboot has traditional boot heritage aesthetics integrated with the distinct looks of the Skytop upper. Extra details and thought in the form of the internal tongue “stash pocket”, which keeps valuables safe and dry, adds to the mix of modern and classic style and performance.

This new direction rom SUPRA is a very interesting one indeed, but a little late arriving at the ‘work boot’ craze that a lot of brands have seemed to jumped on recently.

Look for these dropping at all good SUPRA stockists such as Urban Industry and Slam City Skates soon.
