TOOMUCHPOSSE AW’11 (Drop 1)

TOOMUCHPOSSE have had my respect, and that of a lot of people for some time now, as one of very few brands who manage to stand alone from the UK streetwear pack, with original, interesting designs and the strength of mind to carve their own path through the British market. So, you’ll be pleased to hear that this month, TMP return with the first drop of their Autumn/Winter collection.

The predominantly black and white collection of tees and vests (only broken by a couple of grey options) contains two graphic pieces – ‘Gorilla’ and ‘Jah Woosh’ – while the others are type designs based on the brand name. My favourite is the ‘2Much2Little’ design above, I think it sums up the brands tongue in cheek take on things nicely. The placement of the ‘Too Much Of Everything’ graphic on the back of the shirt is a nice touch too.

There’s definitely a couple pieces here I’ll be picking up myself, and it’s clear I’m not the only one who likes what I see, as you’ll find the brand on the shelves of Donuts, Urban Industry & Hype, as well as online at TOOMUCHPOSSE. Look out for the second drop soon.
