Visvim AW11 Footwear – Detailed Look

Here we take a detailed look at some fresh new offerings from Japanese brand Visvim in the footwear department.

Renowned for their high output of quality (and prices to match), Visvim are heald incredibly highly by most heads and for pretty good reason. A unique approach to style that always represents high quality alongside class and maturity, yet still filled with streetwear / sneaker inspiration. It’s a hard thing to pull of, and think what you will of Visvim, they do a damn good job of it.

These three new kicks are a great example – two Converse inspired classic sneakers and an Oxford shoe inspired item for the more sartorially inclined, sat on a brick red Vibram Everflex sole. From these photos you get a good idea of the quality of materials used (check how soft that leather on the Oxford shoe looks) as well as the attention to detail. On both sneaker-types we see a “vintage” effect that is a hell of a lot more realistic than the yellow-smudge applied by other sneaker brands. A dirty blackening on the outsole makes these kicks look a good year or so old, yet in great nick.

Over-all a nice and concise drop for those who like to splash out on their footwear, or those who like to treat themselves every so often. All three pairs should be available later today from End Clothing for a Visvim price.
