This month, Bristol’s Bake Designs celebrates it’s Second Birthday, and they’ve produced a limited run of T-shirts to celebrate, with a nod to one of the greatest ‘number 2’s of all time.
Continuing the photo print theme we first saw with Bake’s ‘Pugs’ and ‘Shark Week’, the Second Anniversary shirt pays homage to the man who piloted the Lunar Module on Apollo 11, the first manned landing on the moon in history. On the 20th July, 1969, he was the second man to set foot on the moon. The design uses an actual photo of Aldrin, as plucked from the NASA archive, and features the words ‘Sometimes second isn’t so bad’ across the shoulders, with the Bake shield below.
The quality of the print looks excellent, and allows all of the detail in the photo to be seen. I love the whole concept too, celebrating a 2nd birthday by thinking outside of the box. Tees come bagged branded with BAKE/NASA stickers, and will be available from Bake Designs tomorrow, October 31st, while stocks last. Get a further look below, and Happy Birthday to Bake.
