Last night east London gallery ‘Beach’ saw the launch party for the latest shop to grace our shores, The Buttery Store.
The night also played host to the store showing off their first lookbook video, which was projected onto the wall throughout the night. With the lookbook on show, it made for a great opportunity for them to present the outfits featured in it within polystyrene meat transportation boxes, playing on the whole branding of The Buttery Store. It was a solid turn out with plenty of people sprawling onto the street outside, engrossed in conversation and enjoying the free drinks on offer.
With Lee and Ed, the two chaps behind The Buttery Store available for a chat, it was nice to grasp the whole ethos behind the store. They explained that is was nothing pretentious, it’s just two guys enjoying buying in quality clothing and making it available for the UK audience. After seeing that they had pieces like the Eastpak X Christopher Shannon backpacks, which are a exclusive to The Buttery Store outside of Japan, it’s clear that they meant business. In their own words, “We aren’t fashion know it alls; we just know what we like.” and I think that speaks volumes.
The store is now open for business so head over to The Buttery Store to check out what they have to offer.
