This Winter see’s Californians The Hundreds embrace the outdoors with one of their cleanest and most polished collections to date. In a new lookbook for the season, the brand present a selection of fleece, button-ups, and outerwear, with their own takes on traditional styles.
Stand-out pieces for me include the simple, raglan, Peeler Crewneck, the heavy guage knit, woolen Sougan Sweater, and the lumberjack style, quilted overshirt piece called the Armstrong Jacket, shown below in a green/black plaid. The piece above, the Burleson Jacket, uses the Patagonia-inspired logo we’ve seen the brand use a couple of times, and places it on an insulated, Winter parka, which is sure to go down just as well as other similar offerings from season’s past. Finally, some time has to be given to the Parbuckle shirt/Kruger pant combo, utilising The Hundreds’ custom woodland camo which appears on a number of pieces throughout the collection, including an allover-print T-shirt and M-65 style jacket.
Anyone familiar with the brand should notice a much more refined, almost sartorial approach to this collection, and although this lookbook doesn’t showcase the graphic tees and snapback caps we’re more used to seeing from the brand, it shows the direction in which they’re moving, and just what they’re capable of. Available stateside now, the Winter collection will be available from UK stockists later this week, including 5 Pointz, The Candy Store, and Size?
