Carhartt X Uniform Experiment

On Monday, for the first time ever, we saw workwear giants Carhartt and Japanese brand Uniform Experiment coming together to collaborate on an extremely limited collection, letting the guys from Japan make their mark.

Carhartt handed five of their iconic pieces; the hunting coat, the acrylic watch beanie, the bronco pant, the double knee pant and the Carhartt vest over to Uniform Experiment, where they slightly altered cuts and materials to their own liking, whilst applying the usual branding we come to expect from the brand – notably the five linear stars and the UE circular logo.

Each piece comes in two colours, Carhartt  brown and navy, whilst also coming in rigid or heavy washed (the watch beanie also comes in black). For me, the standout piece of the collection is the hunting jacket in Carhartt’s iconic brown duck canvas; the quilted shoulder yoke, it’s a strong look.

All pieces are available in store now, but be quick!
