Diamond Supply Co. Fall 2011 (Delivery 2)

The second Fall drop from Los Angeles based streetwear brand Diamond Supply Co has just landed in the UK. The collection sees some familiar designs as well as new additions, and strays from the nautical influenced apparel we saw earlier in the year with their summer collection.

In this drop we see the return of the ‘Un-Polo” design, pictured above, which I feel is the strongest of the brand’s various mainstay designs – particularly the black and yellow T-shirt, which I’d say, although simple , is one of the standout pieces from this collection. Some of the other pieces like the ‘CODA’ pullover hoody pictured below are nowhere near as appealing. This selection fo apparel joins the headwear release we saw a couple weeks back, and also includes a somewhat un-inspired flip on the COMME des GARÇONS ‘PLAY’ logo.

I must mention how glad I am that they’ve dropped the smoke rings design for this collection, irrespective of how much I revere it, it doesn’t deserve to be in three collections running. Selected items are now available from Fifty Fifty, Flatspot and Urban Industry, get a further look at it all below.
