British brand Folk offer up a creative twist to a winter staple for this season with their Bobby Stitch cardigan.
Titled the Bobby stitch simply because this is what this cardigan is (it’s made with a construction technique called the Bobby stitch), using a mix of materials such lambswool, angora and nylon, a mixture to ensure warmth and comfort and at the same time ensuring strength. The stitch technique, if you look closely, leaves a bobbly effect to the finish, which in-turn effects the texture, again adding comfort.
A plethora of details are found on this garment, such as the funnel neck collar, which can be worn up or folded down, giving the cardigan a different and unique look. There’s also the two front pockets with removable veg tanned straps – a detail I believe gives this item a real rugged feel. Finally, we have the corozo nut buttons, with fine Folk detailing on each; a classic detail to be found on many quality brands out their, producing great products such as this. The Bobby Stitch cardigan has just dropped in three new colourways; light grey, tangerine and black/brown.
All three are available now, online and in-store from Folk for £190.
