Goodhood x R. Newbold AW11 Collection (Detailed Look)

Today saw the release of the 7nth collaborative collection between Goodhood and R. Newbold.

Taking inspiration from anything from space to the Royal Marines, the collection has a certain air of youthful tongue in cheek. Themed around a “Way Back” concept, the collaborative duo have looked back to influences from their past to create a very Streetwear looking collection.

It goes without saying that the quality is of the highest standards, with luxurious heavy flannel shirting and heavy cotton tees. As per usual with this duo, prints feature heavily throughout the collection, however this time we see them take a much more subtle approach. Gone are the wild animal prints, being replaced with intricately placed rows of stars on the military chinos and high detail space prints on the backpack and fur lined chuck lows. Royal Marines inspired ties get warped with a juxtaposing youthful lightning bolt pattern, working well with the lightning bolt print shirt.

This is yet another strong capsule collection from the duo that sees them venture off into a new direction of inspiration, while still being recognisably Goodhood x R. Newbold.

Head over to Goodhood where you can find the collection in-store and online.
