HUH. Magazine launch store in East London

Fellow Brit bloggers HUH. Magazine have expanded out of the digital world and into the real world, as they launch their own physical store in Dalston this evening.

This is a big move for anyone to make, so it’s nice to see it being done and being done well. The store itself has a very Monocle chic to it, with stripped back minimalism that holds a certain calm through white walls and plenty of birch wood. Light, plain and simple, the shop fit is incredibly effective and provides a great setting for the brand mix they are stocking. Launching with the likes of Carhartt, Orlebar Brown, Pointer, Swedish Hasbeens, Happy Socks, Armor.Lux and Herschel, as well as publications from Gestalten, it will be interesting to watch as the store develops and grows.

Being a coffee lover, it warms my heart to see another menswear store with good coffee facilities; the two things just go so well together. With the folks from Caravan supplying the coffee magic, it’s a great addition to the store.

Head down and say hello to the new shop keeps in their early weeks of business; I’m sure they’d appreciate the support.
