Introducing: Briefing Luggage

So you’ve got your military boots shined, you’ve got your finest smock on and now you just need some military grade luggage to carry your possessions in. Let me introduce you to Briefing.

With all the bags produced in the same factory as the American military’s and made from ballistic nylon in the USA, these aren’t just look-a-likes, these are the real deal and will stand anything you throw at them. Aesthetically there is something about the military, wether it is the ruggedness of the gear or the visible functionality that pockets and compartments bring to the table; war is wrong, but their gear is without a doubt, incredible.

Since 1998, Japanese owned Briefing have been combining these aesthetics with the every day functionality that the average civilian needs. For me, my favourite has to be the ‘Gym Wire Bag’, with it’s separate compartment for your footwear, perfect for a night away or as the name suggests, going to the gym (If you know me, you’ll know the latter is pretty unlikely). The branding is pretty minimal across the board, with only a single black and red ‘Briefing made in the USA’ label and a strict colour scheme being implemented for the whole collection – green, green, some more green and black.

All bags are now available from Superdenim, who have the European exclusive for Briefing, but be warned, they don’t come cheap.
