Lacoste L!VE Selector Sessions: The Daily Street (Recap)

As you are probably aware, Thursday night we descended onto the Lacoste L!VE store behind Carnaby Street and curated a night to start off their year long series of monthly ‘Selector Sessions’. We’d chosen our 10 favourite items, our DJ’s were prepped and ready and all we needed to do now was throw a party … so we did.

Can I just start by saying thank you to everyone who came down to show their support; the familiar faces and the new ones too. It was nice to catch up with all of you over a drink (or several), so once again, thank you for coming down and we hope you had as good an evening as we did!

So, the stage was set and the drinks were piled high (I don’t think i’ve ever seen so many crates for such a small space), it got to 6:00 and there was already a fair bit of buzz whilst our very own Synamatix stepped up to the 1’s and 2’s, followed by Guy Andrews, James Fox and our secret special guest. The music throughout the night was more than on point, which isn’t surprising with a line-up like that. Deep House, Techno, Garage and bass heavy vibes pumped from the speakers, whilst enjoying endless free drinks and catching up with friends, who could complain?

Once people had browsed the Lacoste L!VE collection and filled in their competition entries, the party soon ended up sprawling out onto the street, pretty much blocking Newburgh Street off completely, which was very flattering for us. I’m sure you get the idea of how the night turned out from looking at my photos, and if not, luckily friend and photographer Bilal Mustapha came down to give his perspective too.

Over all, we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and I know personally that I’ll be trying to make it to each one of these events from now on, so a big thank you goes out to Lacoste LIVE, the DJs, our drinks sponsors and everyone who came down to party.
