Brooklyn based streetwear brand Mishka have teamed up with one of my favourite underground UK record labels, Nightslugs, for a small collection of quality garments.
Night Slugs started out life as a London based DJ/Production duo, consisting of L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok, who have been throwing parties and spinning the sounds of the UK underground, from grime to house, all over the Rinse FM airwaves for the last few years now. Just over a year ago, Night Slugs morphed into a record label, releasing club bangers from artists worldwide.
To celebrate their first year as a label, Mishka have shown their appreciation and admiration for Night Slugs by teaming up with them on this collaboration of three T-shirts and a snapback cap. The first tee holds the Night Slugs logo, printed large across the front, and is available in both white with a black logo or black with a glow-in-the-dark white logo. The second shirt is an ode to one of the scene’s biggest releases from the last year – Girl Unit’s ‘I.R.L’. The ultramodern artwork from the release, designed by Night Slugs co-founder Bok Bok, is printed on a black tee. Finally the collaboration also includes a black and blue Starter snapback featuring the same notorious Logo that appears on the two tees.
This is a huge collaboration, which I expect will be flying out to both fans of Mishka, and of Night Slugs, worldwide. Grab yours now from the Night Slugs Store.
