Available in black and navy, I can see these being picked up by a lot of New Era’s regular punters in additon to avid street wear fans. The watch is distinguished from the regular model with the New Era logo on the strap, watch face and on the screen when illuminated, and with retailers like size? only recently announcing they’ll be stocking G-Shock watches (just a little late on the band wagon, I think), I’ve got an inkling we’ll be seeing a myriad of these awash over the streets.
To celebrate the collaboration, New Era are holding an all day party this Saturday December 3rd at their London Flagship Store, along with a wonka-esque challenge to potentially win 1 of three of the aforementioned watches… all you have to do is find the golden envelopes! The journey starts at the G-Shock East Store in London, before 12 noon on Saturday. The main attraction for me this Saturday would be the performance by Mikill Pane, one of the best ‘street’ artists the UK has to offer at the moment. Following his relative fifteen minutes of fame on his collaboration with Ed Sheeran & being the supporting act for Mac Miller’s UK dates, he’s one of my ‘ones to watch’ for 2012.
