Penfield introduces ‘Race For Summit’

This month Penfield introduce a huge new contest, that we’re very excited to be a part of. Race For The Summit is a new online viral competition and social networking campaign that will celebrate one of the Massachusetts brand’s finest pieces – the classic Summit down insulated parka.

Launching this Thursday, November 17th, Race For The Summit will take users on a trail of websites and blogs, covering contemporary fashion, music, lifestyle, heritage Americana and the great outdoors, to hunt for clues that will help answer questions on the Penfield website. Two questions will be revealed every week, but only to those who have successfully answered those previous. Entrants are invited to take part at any time between this Thursday’s start date, and the final submission date of December 19th, with the winner announced the following day.

The Prize? Or should I say, ‘prizes’, include 3 classic Summit parkas, 5 Outback vests, and 20 Sanford beanies from the current Penfield collection – the grand prize being a one-off, custom-made Race For The Summit premium down insulated parka, crafted especially for the competition, which you can get a good look at below.

This is an online scavenger hunt of the most epic proportions, and we are incredibly excited to be a part of it – think of it as the online fashion and lifestyle equivalent of The Crystal Maze. It all kicks off on Thursday, and there’ll be more information to come before then, but for now, make sure to like Penfield on facebook, follow @PenfieldUSA on twitter, and create your Penfield Account at their official website.
