Two of the Behemonths of American (and more specifically, Los Angeles) street fashion, The Hundreds & Diamond Supply Co, have teamed up once again, to release the anti-seasonal ‘Forever Summer’ collection.
The name comes from the year-round warm Californian temperature, which never ceases to lead to a great deal of envy from all of those who live outside of the state, and the idea of keeping Summer rolling all year long. The floral Hawaiian theme is an interesting one, and the two brands have executed it flawlessly. With the two iconic logos almost trading designs, the Adam Bomb & the Diamond, it’s a solid collection based on two allover-print designs, with a few pieces that actually try something new – which is seemingly frowned upon as of late.
The pullover hoody and short sleeved shirt featuring the abstract pattern are definitely my favourites, adding a bit of colour to the Winter gear is never a bad thing. Whilst brown and black look great, for me at least, it actually highlights sartorial skill if you can pull off less conventional gear and still look good. Another standout piece for me are the contrast cuff trousers, something I feel isn’t utilised enough in our scene – they’ll be flying off the shelves for sure.
The collection will be available in the UK from tomorrow at Urban Industry, Chemical, Flatspot and Kong, who are also holding a launch event tomorrow evening.
