Guy Andrews is most certainly a rising star in the current UK House & Bass scenes that are going on right now. With his debut 12″ just dropping on the trend setting Hemlock, it’s clear that Guy is here to stay.

Those of you who made it down to our party with Lacoste L!VE last week will almost certainly have picked up one of the free USBs with this mix on it in advance. For those of you less fortunate, it’s now online, so the panic is over. The mix is a pretty good representation of the types of music that are motivating Brighton’s Guy Andrews at the moment; plenty of House vibes mixed in with some weighty bass lines and hard percussion. You’ll find hints of old Dubstep flavours getting mixed around with the sounds of deep Techno; something not too surprising if you are familiar with Guy’s work.

Guy Andrews is without a doubt one of the brightest young talents in the UK, and you’ll be hearing a lot more about him in the future, I’m sure of that. As for now, have a listen to the mix, download it, dwell on it, and remember where you heard of Guy Andrews first.
