A.P.C. x Carhartt Winter 2011 Collection

French fashion brand A.P.C. and American workwear mammoths Carhartt have teamed up for the second time. On this occasion, the collaboration displays a superb array of clothing to see through the Winter months.

The collection, designed by A.P.C’s Jean Touitou, is made up of a classic chino, a pocket t-shirt, the Chambray shirt, the Captain jacket, the Schopenhauer jacket, the Detroit Revisited jacket and even a work apron for good measure. The highlights for me are undoubtedly the Schopenhauer and the Detroit. The Schopenhauer is essentially a classic American varsity jacket. The body of the jacket boasts a tonal black plaid, made up of a woollen knit, with a dual branded “A” on the breast. The classic Detroit jacket has had a superior makeover, flaunting a slimmer build of dearborn canvas and a full shearling fleece lining.

This collection collaborates the French eye for detailing and style with the American high quality workwear at a superior level. Such a strong collection from the two mighty brands. Everything featured here is available now at End Clothing.

Love this collab, solid, strong and very functional. Although they are charging over £20 for a utility key which quite frankly is stupid because I have one (that i won) and would cost no more than probably £1 to make.
