Recap: Adidas Consortium AW11 Party

Back in October we alerted you to the AW11 release for the Adidas Consortium range, so I was more than happy when I heard they’d be having a release party just opposite our night for Lacoste L!VE.

With crowds darting between the two parties and enjoying the drinks on offer, it made for a friendly atmosphere down on Newburgh Street. The main point for me with this release is the fact that the all white colourway across the collection really makes each silhouette stand out, letting the shoes do the talking and reminding us why Adidas are still on top form after 87 years.

This ‘Letting the shoes do the talking’ also seemed to be the approach Adidas took for the evening, with a wall lined with each of the models and very little writing, it was nothing fancy and nothing more than a chance for us to appreciate each model for their own unique characteristics.

With both events going down within a stones throw of each other, if you weren’t on Newburgh Street on the 24th, you missed out.
