Air Jordan III Retro “Black Flip”

Jordan Brand finishes up this year with another Air Jordan III retro, this time coming with a twist.

Using one of the main design aspects of the III, the cement/elephant print, Jordan Brand switch up the normal use of this well known aesthetic with the tumbled leather usually found on the upper of the shoe. It’s not the first time JB have used this technique but the use of back colour blocking on this release should interest a wide audience of footwear fanatics. Keeping things simple, the black shoe is contrasted by grey Jumpman and outsole detailing giving this tough looking shoe an extra stealthy and rugged feel.

It’s safe to say 2011 was the year of the AJ III and it’s about time this classic got a well earned rest… Stay tuned for more news on future Jordan reissues coming in 2012, with the IV making a welcome comeback.

The Air Jordan III Black Flip’s will be available at House Of Hoops London from December 3rd.
