Benny Gold Holiday 2011 Headwear

San Francisco’s very own Benny Gold produce some great headwear for the Winter months, with 9 snapbacks and 2 Winter knits, all tailored to the quality that’s become synonymous with the brand.

The B.Gold snapbacks are my favourite from this collection, offering a clean design with contrast under-brims on both the black/gold, and the navy/gold designs. The signature paper plane logo features on the back of each snapback to offer some continuity to the collection, though I’m unsure what would be needed to save the Trucker caps from being as droll as any other I’ve seen.

Being an avid fan of the bobble hat, Benny Gold offer us two strong muted colourways, the grey being the better of the two, with the curious use of grey/navy creating a standout piece for the Holiday collection.

I’d suggest always keeping both a cap and a piece of knitwear on your person at all times in this season, given that sunshine seemingly swaps with rain (or hail) at least five times a day – as if the biting cold wasn’t enough. This whole collection is available from Sole Heaven now.
