Dr Martens for HYPEBEAST 5-Eye Brogue

In a rather interesting collaboration, Dr Martens have teamed up with blog heavyweights Hypebeast to create this rendition of a 5-eye brogue.

Based on the 3989 5-eye brogue, Hypebeast have created a more subtle, refined version that sees the brogueing embossed on the shoe rather than using the usual overlays of leather. The all black DSP outsole helps give the shoe a more than classic appeal, and from a distance you’d be forgiven for assuming they were some old-school design that’s been around for centuries.

A co-branded tan leather insole gives the product that premium, limited edition feel that we all secretly love. I’m not sure if it’s new for this project or if it has been used before, but I’m really feeling Hypebeast’s “HB” crest that they have used to brand this shoe.

Dropping on December 12th, you will be able to find these in-store at Dover Street Market, limited to 150 pairs world wide.
