Maison Martin Margiela 11 MMM Necklace

Maison Martin Margiela produce another incredibly simple, yet equally effective piece of ottone brass men’s jewellery in the form of this MMM Necklace.

Made entirely from ottone brass, this piece features what appears to be “111” on each side of a solid disc, but when rotated on it’s axis, you can clearly read the brand’s MMM initials. Accompanied by a 48cm branded chain, this necklace is brilliantly minimal in a way that I’ve come to expect from the Maison Martin Margiela jewellery department, and would be a welcome addition to a large selection of outfits.

Although this piece if part of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which focuses heavily on the idea of illusions, it is available to buy now from oki-ni for £165.

From buying Margiela from Oki-ni before, you’ll find after a few wears that the silver plating starts to rub off which doesn’t really justify the price bracket, but still they kill it on the simple pieces even if the quality does lack.
I usually recommend for anything a bit more adventurous and they have a varied amount of styles.
