Visvim’s always been a tricky one for me, but although I’ve yet to own a single piece for myself, it’s something I’ll always aspire to have in my collection. These three new 22 litre Lamina rucksacks are a perfect example of the craftsmanship, premium materials, and attention to detail that go into every Visvim release.
Available in three colours (Navy, Beige, and Black), the Picaro series utilises a lightweight and durable type of nylon called ‘konbu’, with contrasting denim panels on the base of each pack. On the reverse you’ll find tonal corduroy panels on the back and on the padded, adjustable straps. The rucksack itself has four pockets (1 large, 1 medium, and two small), closed with Swiss riri zips attached to cow hide zip pulls.
It’s worth taking some time to look at the close up shots which reveal the details used throughout. The combination of nylon, denim and cord looks great in all three colours, but in my mind it’s really highlighted in the beige. These are a fine example of the way Hiroki Nakamura’s Visvim likes to work but of course, it comes at a price… a price of £545 to be exact. Take a closer look below, and if you fancy making an investment, they’re available from End Clothing now.
